This policy explains what information Feed Your Vitality collects when you visit this website or join one of our lists, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
Feed Your Vitality is operated by US Logistics Consultants LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By using this website or giving us your information, you agree to this policy.

1. What we collect
Information you give us
- When you join a list: your first name and email address. If a form asks for a phone number or mailing address, that too.
- When you buy something: your name, billing and shipping address, email, and phone number. Payment card details go directly to our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
- When you subscribe to a printed newsletter: the mailing address we need to send it to you.
- When you contact us: whatever you choose to put in the message.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours records some technical detail when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, the pages you viewed, and the dates and times you viewed them. This comes from cookies and similar technologies described in section 4.
2. How we use it
We use your information to:
- Send you the emails you asked for, including book launch updates and our newsletter.
- Fulfill orders, ship products, and provide customer support.
- Manage subscriptions, billing, and renewals.
- Answer your questions.
- Understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
- Measure and improve our advertising.
- Prevent fraud and abuse, and meet our legal obligations.
We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
3. Email and text messages
When you join a list, you are asking us to email you. You can stop that at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every marketing email, or by writing to us. We will still send transactional messages you need, such as an order confirmation or a shipping notice, unless you cancel the underlying order.
Text messages
If you give us a mobile number and check the consent box, you are agreeing to receive text messages from us at that number. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent to receive marketing texts is never a condition of any purchase.
On your phone number specifically. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or text message consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Your number is used to send you the messages you asked for, and nothing else.
4. Cookies and tracking
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. We use them to keep the site working, to remember your preferences, to understand which pages people actually read, and to measure whether our advertising is worth what it costs.
Some of these come from third parties, including analytics providers and advertising platforms, which may set their own cookies and may combine what they learn here with what they know about you elsewhere.
You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings. Parts of the site may stop working properly if you do. Most browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common standard for how sites should respond to it, so we do not currently respond to it.
5. Who we share it with
We share your information only in these situations:
- Service providers who work on our behalf. This includes our website and customer relationship platform, our email delivery provider, our payment processor, our printing and mailing house, shipping carriers, and analytics and advertising platforms. They may use your information only to perform services for us.
- When the law requires it, or to respond to a valid legal request, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
- In a business transfer. If the business is sold, merged, or reorganized, customer information may transfer with it. We will tell you before your information becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.
- With your direction. Anything else, we ask first.
6. We do not sell your data
We do not sell your personal information, and we have not done so in the past twelve months. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in a way that requires an opt-out under California law, and we do not sell or share the personal information of anyone we know to be under sixteen.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you are on a list or have an active relationship with us, and afterward only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, to resolve disputes, or to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Order and payment records are generally kept for seven years. If you unsubscribe, we keep a minimal record of your email address so that we do not accidentally email you again.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections and reputable vendors who maintain their own security programs. No method of transmitting or storing information is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we ever learn of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by law.
9. Your choices and rights
Whoever and wherever you are, you can:
- Unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any email.
- Stop text messages by replying STOP.
- Ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your information, subject to records we are required to keep.
If you live in California
The California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, the right to opt out of sale or sharing (see section 6, we do neither), and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. You may make a request yourself or through an authorized agent. We will verify your identity before acting, usually by confirming you control the email address on the account.
If you live in the EU or UK
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting processing already carried out. We process your data on the basis of your consent (for marketing), the performance of a contract (for orders and subscriptions), and our legitimate interests (for running and improving the business). You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
How to make a request
Email [email protected] with the subject "Privacy Request" and tell us what you want. We will respond within the time the law allows, generally forty-five days in California and thirty days in the EU and UK.
10. Children
This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under sixteen. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.
11. Links to other sites
Our site and emails link to places we do not run. Their privacy practices are their own. Read their policies before handing over anything.
12. Visitors outside the US
We operate in the United States. If you are elsewhere, understand that your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. By using the site or submitting your information, you consent to that transfer.
13. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when our practices change. The effective date at the top tells you when it last changed. If a change is significant, we will say so by email or with a notice on the site. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
